Samaritan Inn Gala October 16, 2010
Embassy Suites, Frisco Hotel, Convention Center and Spa 7600 John Q. Hammons Dr. Frisco, TX 75034 |
 |
|
This annual event is our biggest fundraiser of the year and provides us with an opportunity to thank and publicly acknowledge those who have gone above and beyond for our program and its efforts to end the cycle of homelessness that many men, women and families are experiencing in our community.
Our Gala Chairperson, Sarah Lake, has formed a volunteer Gala Committee that will meet regularly to plan and prepare for our annually anticipated event. This will be Mrs. Lake's final year as Gala Chair and her goal in 2010 is to raise more than last year’s record breaking total of $200K and to bring stronger awareness to the community of the issues facing those who are experiencing homelessness in Collin County.
The event website will soon be published and those who are interested in attending will be able to register their reservations and purchase sponsorships as well.
For more immediate information regarding our Gala or to inquire about sponsorships, please contact Molly Castillo at (972) 542-5302, ext. 232 or mcastillo@thesamaritaninn.org. |
2010 Third Party Special Events
|
These events are coordinated by outside groups or organizations and are valuable as they make up a significant portion of our fund raising goal. We can provide consulting and minimal participation and we have a volunteer base that we can contact to assist with these events. We are also able to notify our supporters with invitations to participate and/or sponsor such events. We welcome the opportunity to meet with groups or organizations interested in supporting the Inn through the production of a Third Party Special Event. Please contact Molly Castillo at (972) 542-5302 or mcastillo@thesamaritaninn.org.
