Part-Time Program Specialist (two shifts per week). If you’re looking to gain hands-on experience in the social service field or a career working for a company whose main focus is to help individuals become self-sufficient, look no further! Qualified individuals will have a high school diploma and some college course work in psychology, social work, or a related field. Primary responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: crisis intervention, utilizing skills to encourage and support residents, assessment of incoming residents, and referrals. Part-Time Maintenance/Grounds Keeper. We are in need of someone with reliable transportation, dependable, and knowledgeable of basic maintenance work (plumbing, electrical, etc. a plus). Must be able to meet the physical demands as well as pass a criminal background check and drug screen. CDL preferred but not required. Part-Time Career Development Position. We are currently seeking someone to assist us within our Career Development program. This will be a part-time position with evening and weekend hours. Will work closely with college educated, professional residents to expand their network and identify employment opportunities. Job Requirements: College graduate preferred, Human Resources, recruiting, staffing or sourcing background, knowledgeable with various social media outlets (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, etc.), Understand the McKinney/Collin County/Dallas job market, and uses networking opportunities such as local community groups or professional associations to identify referrals for qualified candidates.
